I was not impressed with The Guardian today. I remember, years ago, having to go to the shops specially the weekend before Wimbledon to find a paper with a table to fill in the results. But then they all started doing them on the first Monday. Except when I went to look this morning, The Guardian's consisted of the first two rounds, The Times had the first three and I was forced to buy The Telegraph!

I'm playing Fantasy Wimbledon as well. Not many of my players played today but two of the women went out without winning a single set. I might have a negative number of points once they put the scores up

Other than that, and the rain, it's all very exciting. Except for the football getting in the way. I was convinced we'd lose tonight and I'd get uninterrupted tennis (except for the cricket) and get one episode of The Bill this week. How wrong was I. So the only thing I'll be switching my telly on for is Wimbledon. Muted, so I don't have to listen to Virginia Wade, Ann Jones, Pam Shriver, John McEnroe or Boris Becker more than is absolutely necessary.
