In other news, my BBC news email told me: Pylons 'may be a leukaemia risk'. It sounds like just another scare story for me - there do seem to be quite a lot of people irrationally scared of electricity pylons. Perhaps my perspective is different because I grew up near one but I think they're great. In summer you can see all the birds gathering for bed, which is quite interesting to watch. And they forecast the weather - they hum if it's going to rain, even if there are no clouds in the sky.
