Doctor Who

The last few minutes - I wondered if they were going to do that. It makes me wonder at what point that was written and decisions were made etc. But once I saw the light on the hand, I knew.
But, I was actually, for the first time ever, scared of the [censored].
I still have a pink face - I think I must have got sunburnt. I didn't bother with the sun tan lotion because it wasn't that hot or sunny when I left and I thought I would be covered up. But my hood kept slipping, so my face was exposed. Never mind, it'll go back to its normal colour in a couple of days.

Carnival
Saturday 18th June 2005 5:29 pm
This is the fifth carnival they've had here and the first I've actually seen the procession. Well, a part of it anyway, since we were in it. For some reason Carnival day always has extreme weather, apparently. Today was hot.
The theme was Charter, as this year celebrates the 850th anniversary of the charter being granted to the town. So there were a lot of castles and kings and queens about. We did plague, with a cart full of straw (dead bodies), ringing a bell and shouting 'bring out your dead'. Which had to be loud as the baptist church were in a float behind us singing - although this consisted of three songs. After an hour of that we were ready to kill them.
I was death, so I got to wear black, put on a thick black cloak and carry a scythe, which I'd made on Thursday night. We had great fun with the fake blood someone brought along as well.
Needless to say by the time we had done the sun had properly come out and by the time I got home all my clothes were stuck to me. Now I'm completely confused by the time because all I've done is get up, go to carnival, come home and have lunch (at 5pm).
Tomorrow I have to brave the hot tube to go to the allergy show. There had better be chocolate there!
