Whoever thought electricity meters are a good idea, was so wrong. I absolutely hate it. I would never, given the choice, have one. I was happily sat down watching Secret Smile, as it has David Tennant in, when all of a sudden the room goes dark and the sound goes off. Not having any power to my TV card made it go totally non coping, so it carried on for a bit, then got to the part where the power went and refused to do anything. I pressed lots of buttons and my computer crashed.

I then ended up watching some of it on the actual TV, which was completely confusing being as it was 10 minutes on from what I last saw. Now I have it back in pause so I can fast forward through the adverts again.

It's not missing the thing that's annoying me, because I think I've pretty much caught up really, it's the part where I was all settled, although had just discovered I've gone wrong on my cross stitch.

I so can't wait to have enough money to have my own place where I can have hot water that takes less than 5 minutes to actually go hot (and stays hot), and electricty 24/7, except in a power cut.
