Questions about writing meme

A writing questions meme from Melli:
You reply to this post and I ask you five questions about your writing. It can be about anything. Then you post the answers in your own LJ and can if you wish do the meme yourself.
Melli asked me some questions, which I have finally answered:
1. Which fandom do you feel most comfortable writing in? And why do you think this is the easiest one for you to write in?
The answer to this is whichever one I've written most recently, which would be Doctor Who. Although specificially Sarah Jane Adventures. Part of that is coming in at the beginning of SJA, and having written a fair bit of Sarah previous to it. But also because it has a parent & child in it who are not really that relation - for some reason I always go for this in stuff I write (cf Elrond and Estel, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan).
2. Of all the characters you write, which you do you find the most difficult and is it the one you dislike the most?
Of the characters I've written recently, it's Harry, because he has a particular way of speaking and it's very hard to get right. I don't dislike him though, you can't help loving Harry!
In Atlantis, for some reason, I found Sheppard hard to write, but Elizabeth easier, even though I prefer Shep to Elizabeth.
I don't tend to dislike characters I write really. I think I just write nice, fluffy stuff
3. Tell me three WIP's you've had going for a while but have not been finished? and/or tell me a story written by someone else that you'd really like to rewrite and why?
I have enough trouble at Remix time trying to find something to remix that my assigned writer has written. But looking in my WIP folder I can see some stuff that I'm sure is finished and just needs moving
For three WIPs for the answer though, there's an LOTR one based around the premise that Arathorn loved Gilraen, but the reverse was not true - taking the Appendix literally. I was trying to write something long, and at that point over 1000 words was long for me. So I found it hard going and I have bits and pieces in varying stages. Now I've written some longer stuff I should try going back to it.
There's something I started writing in Atlantis, based in Langford Uni AU set in two parts, before and after Elizabeth and John get together. I got distracted after writing the first draft and then I discovered I liked the Jack/Elizabeth pairing far better anyway. It's not Langford U continuity though, and a rare pairing.
In Doctor Who, there's a couple of fics I started set not long after Sarah gets back to Earth, after the Doctor has left her in Aberdeen. I keep thinking that one day I'll actually write that, and incorporate bits of both of them, as they both stalled for lack of me knowing where I was going.
4. Is there are story you've always wanted to write but never got around too?
I've never written romance, but I am for my TARDIS Big Bang fic, so that will be an interesting experience. I've never written comedy (although I have written vaguely humourous). I can't write funny stuff, though, as much as I love to read it.
As for actual plots, though, I have a few I have files for that I've written vague notes in. For Doctor Who, which is the one most in my head at the moment, I want to write a pure historical, because I miss that they don't do those any more. And I want to write one with just Harry, because so far I've only written him with Sarah.
5. Give me a commentary on your favourite fanfic
My favourite is pretty much whatever I wrote last. Although when I checked it wasn't the one I was thinking it was! Since it's an experimental one, from my point of view, it's probably quite a good one to do a commentary on. But because this is getting long, I'll do that in a separate post.
