In the past few days three people have asked me what I'm on about when I talk about RSS Feeds. Wikipedia has a whole load on it, but frankly I couldn't be bothered to read it, it was very long and detailed. So I will do my best to explain it in reference to Livejournal in particular.

Happy Chanukah to everyone that celebrates it. I don't get my presents till I go home at Christmas, and I haven't bought a single one of mine yet (since I'm going to miss Chanukah by a few weeks, I might as well do my Christmas shopping after Boxing Day).

I have got one present though - the latest Big Finish Companion Chronicles with Peter Purves. From my grandmother, ordered by my dad from the Big Finish website, since that was the only place that had it for some strange reason. She posted it first class yesterday so my post is clearly back to normal - at last!

I was discussing our Boxing Day film with dad (The Golden Compass, which both me and my sister have read) and I pointed out that next year's will be Star Trek. To which dad responded with possibly the funniest comment I've heard for ages:

me: And 2008 there'll be Star Trek film for Christmas
dad: which month or don't you know?

(he claims he didn't see the word Christmas, just 2008, but excuses, excuses)
