Current computer-related problems that are doing my head in:

Printer
I didn't use the printer for a while and it obviously threw a wobbler about that. I looked in the help and cleaned the print heads and realigned them or something and then it was happy. It printed two things and then decided that what I actually wanted was a big block of black instead of the picture I was printing. So as it also said that you should change the inks every 6 months and the black was low I thought I'd change it. So now it won't print black. Everything else is fine, just as long as you only print in colour.

4oD
This one is related to the fact that I can only get a good signal on Channel 4 and its related channels on 850MHz when I don't want to watch anything on it. But I could watch them on 4oD, just like you can do Listen Again for radio. Except that last weekend I couldn't even get it to open. For a while now everytime I start the computer Delivery Manager crashes - before the ZoneAlarm alert comes up asking me whether I want it to start everytime I start the computer.

So I uninstalled it. And it still crashes, so I uninstalled the BBC iPlayer which I have yet to get to work successfully (although since it comes out of beta on Tuesday I'll try it again then). Now I need to reinstall 4oD and see if it works without the BBC iPlayer being on there. Fingers crossed for that - it's my plan for tomorrow night assuming the computer is happy when I start it up tomorrow.

I really want a plugin on my blog that allows people to login with their openID (or LJ ID). There are three and none of them work. Although interestingly, I tried them all recently and give me different errors to the last time when they didn't work. And some of them worked at some point.

The only thing I can think of now is to change my theme to Kubrick, deactivate all the plugins and see if any of them work. If they do, then I can work on putting it all back and work out at what point it breaks. And hopefully therefore fix it too. That I'm going to save for my Christmas holiday though. Along with other plugins and updating the ones I have, since most of them seem to have had new versions since I last installed them.
