Reading my weight in books update

I haven't done an update for so long I've almost forgotten what I think of these books...
Doctor Who: Deadly Reunion by Terrance Dicks and Barry Letts
The first half of this story was all the Brigadier, which was quite good. The second half was mostly Three & Jo but not nearly so interesting.
Doctor Who: Genocide by Paul Leonard
This is an Eighth Doctor story with Jo in it and I really liked it, even though I don't think much of Sam or the Eighth Doctor in the books. The one big problem I had with it is that there was no goodbye scene between Jo and the Doctor, it just sort of ends as far as her story is concerned.
Double Fault by Lionel Shriver
I really liked this. It's sort of about tennis and also sort of about relationships, but I was just fascinated by the people in it.
Coraline by Neil Gaiman
This was good, but didn't half scare me.
It Just Occurred to Me... by Humphrey Lyttleton
This was full of all sorts of things I never knew about Humph. And really well written and funny.
Wolfsbane by Jacqueline Rayner
I re-read this while I was ill, although I'd been meaning to re-read it since last year because I read it so slowly. It was just as good the second time round.
The Face of the Enemy by David McIntee
I re-read this while I was ill too, and I was glad I did because there were a couple of small details in there that I'd thought were different.
Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis
Before films all I remembered of Narnia were bits of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and the painting in the bedroom in Voyage of the Dawn Treader. So they were interesting to read again. But unlike when I was younger and first read them, I can really see the religious parallels, which I think is a pity because I much preferred thinking of Aslan as just another fantasy character.
Doctor Who Short Trips: The Quality of Leadership
It took me a while to get into this, but once I did I did enjoy it. My main problem with it was just that I'd had enough of reading Doctor Who and was trying to finish them all to start on something else.
Doctor Who: Galaxy Four by William Emms
This was free with something, which is why I read it. I hardly remembered the serial at all, despite having listened to it, but this was standard Doctor Who, except with the way the Doctor & co let a group of people die - it struck me that wouldn't have happened in New Who.
