Angelic Paranoia

Paranoidangel's Website

My website
Monday 7th January 2013 9:01 pm

My Christmas project was to create the Rotary website and do some stuff on mine.

The Rotary website didn't take long once I actually got started. I won't link to it here because it'll narrow down where I live quite a bit, plus the other members don't get to hear about this until tomorrow's meeting. I used on the basis that it's free and simple. I was amazed at how simple it was, but frustrated at not being able to do small things that I can do easily on (which is hosted by me, so I can literally change anything). Hopefully they'll all like it and it'll be easy for anyone else to edit. Getting anyone else to do anything on it will be the hard part...

On my website, I realised I just wasn't updating much on it, so I cut down a bit and put all the remaining pages in WordPress. My page of icons I've made was suddenly so much easier to change about. I realised after I'd done it that the whole site except for the index page is now within the blog/ folder, but I couldn't be bothered to change it. It really doesn't make that much difference in the end anyway. Theoretically it should be a bit simpler to update it from now on, not that there'll be much to update. I sort of feel like it's cheating to use WordPress, but in reality I use more html/css at work than I used on my website these days anyway.

Then I played about with my fanfic archive too. WordPress introduced custom taxonomies - LJ and Dreamwidth have one of those, that they call tags, WP has two built in: categories and tags. Now my fanfic archive has lots, for characters, length, pairings etc. It didn't take long to create them, then it took a while to copy the tags over to my taxonomies. And then I spent ages trying to get the LJ crossposter to crosspost said taxonomies. I eventually managed that over the weekend. It all looks much nicer on my site and makes it easier to find things. It just doesn't look as good on LJ, but since that's really just for telling people there's a new fic and giving them a place to read it, it doesn't matter too much.

One of the problems I have with the crossposter I'm using is that it hasn't been updated in a long time and there's another one out there that is being updated and has some features (well, ok, one) that I like (but on the whole I'm not so keen on it). So this evening I've been playing with php (after a day of playing with actionscript) to work out how the newer crossposter does it, to try and insert that code into the older one. So far I've worked out where the relevant bits are and decided that it's more than an evening's work - and will probably mess up the plugin while I fiddle with it, which'll mean I won't be able to post (unless I crosspost it by hand and that just involves too much effort). So we'll see. There's something to be said for the "this plugin doesn't do quite what I want, so let me modify it" approach, even if it's just "where did my evening go?".

My fanfic
Friday 30th December 2011 7:49 pm

I was having withdrawal symptoms not playing with blogging sites, so I have created a fanfic blog over at Dreamwidth at [info]pa_fic.

All of my fanfic is on my website at There you can get an RSS feed of the whole thing, or just fandoms and there's a link in the sidebar that tells you how to search multiple tags and/or fandoms.

Everything I've written since March 2009 is also crossposted to LJ at [info]pa_fic. Now [info]pa_fic will have everything from 2012. I haven't copied over the old stuff to LJ and DW because the crossposting plugin won't do that with old entries to communities. And the version on my website gives better options for finding things.

Cats and writing
Sunday 31st October 2010 7:05 pm

I've been home for a few days to see the cat, who is crazy. And very naughty. I get a few things done, then have to stop to play with the cat. He particularly likes paper. He takes it off to play with - no idea why but it keeps him happy. He also likes having a ping pong ball thrown up the stairs for him to chase. Or often for me to chase because he's just sat there and watched it. There are photos of him, some of them are new.

I have managed to change my blog about a bit to get rid of some of the crap I had down the sidebars, and only have one sidebar, so it doesn't look so cramped and busy any more. And discovered while I was doing it that my tag cloud didn't display. It does now. And I did my Remix reviews for Sel's website, which would have been so much easier if I'd done them at the time and not had to re-read them...

Writing-wise I have looked a bit prolific lately. Partly because I actually got off my arse and wrote stuff this month. I managed to write something for [info]lotr_community: The Ghosts of Men about the Dead Men. I got my fic in for [info]intoabar early: The Magic Ring where Maria Jackson unexpectedly finds herself in Rivendell. And I wrote an episode tag for SJA: Death of the Doctor by starting it before the episode was broadcast: The Importance of Family starring Jo.

For November there's [info]picowrimo which is a mini Nanowrimo where you set your own goals. I haven't had the energy to do it the past few years, but this year I am going to finish my Four, Sarah and Harry end up in present day UNIT fic that I started a long time ago. I thought that after that I'd done every combination of Sarah and Harry fic, until I thought of two more I could write. So it seems not. And then there'll also be Yuletide, of course, but by the time the assignments have gone out and I've done some research it'll be late November by the time I start writing that.

What’s new around here
Wednesday 6th May 2009 1:00 pm

I've been playing around on the blog front.

On my blog you can now comment using just your OpenID. It would have worked a year ago if I'd only known the plugin to show you a preview of your comment was interfering with it...

Also, I'm using a new crossposter. The big advantage of this one is that if I create a password protected post here, it posts it on LJ as a friends locked post. Which is what I always wished the crossposter would do, so that's handy. You'll notice on LJ that the header has changed and now become a footer. Exciting, ay?

Since Dreamwidth made it from closed to open beta the other day (at least from my perspective) I now have an account there: paranoidangel. The crossposter posts simultaneously to both LJ and DW, so I now have three backups of my blog.

When I finally wade into RSS Bandit and the 1157 unread feeds I had in there this morning (some of which I've read in Google Reader, to be fair) I might well take some people off my LJ friends list, since that is merely a list of who I am reading and I suspect I will find that I will just mark some of those as read without reading them.

But it's ok because there are other ways of reading my very rare protected posts - which I only really want to hide from random people who've surfed in randomly. Either you can ask me the password and read it on the blog (or search the blog to find it). Or read it on DW. What I plan to do there is give access to anyone who wishes it - basically if you subscribe to my DW journal, I'll give you access. But if you friend my LJ, I will only friend you back if I'm reading your LJ. Clear as mud?

I also have a second DW account (which I did pay about ยฃ2 for but there's really nothing a paid account does that a free one doesn't - the same can be said of LJ). This one is paranoidangel42 and is purely for talking about RP things. So people reading my blog/LJ/DW who aren't interested aren't bored by it and I can have RP-related emails in the right email account. No really, that is important.

I know I have a load of comments to reply to and posts to read and people to subscribe to on DW, it's just going to take me a little while to catch up - feel free to subscribe to me and save me the effort ๐Ÿ™‚

Sunday 7th December 2008 4:34 pm

I have now filled eleven crates with my possessions. Four of those crates are mostly books. I really need to be ruthless with them after I move, I think. I've packed most of the pictures on my walls, mostly emptied the bookcases and taken a load of stuff off my desk and TV stand too. So it's all looking a bit empty. Well, until you see the crates piled up anyway. I have to go round the flat carefully in case I bump into things.

I spent a lot of yesterday morning going through stuff and tidying it. And discovering stuff I hadn't unpacked from when I last moved two years ago... I've binned it now because it wasn't even that important at the time. I kept on discovering stuff in random places, especially pension statements for some reason. Which included after I've packed that stuff and refuse to go back to it yet again.

Next Saturday my sister's bringing her crates and between those and all my boxes, I think that'll be pretty much everything covered.

Also, this weekend, I had a bit of a getting things done weekend because I didn't go out. I was planning to go swimming but I have conjunctivitis (although mildly - it took me two days to work out why my eye was pink) and I shouldn't take that to a swimming pool really.

But I did listen to the latest Seven & Ace audio: Forty Five. I don't think I was paying much attention to the first CD, though, so I'll listen to that again on the way home at Christmas. Then I also finally put my Canada diary up on my website. I have done all my Christmas shopping (which only involved buying one thing, so that wasn't hard) and nearly done everything for my TR secret santa too.

Now I am downloading Band of Brothers, so I won't be able to say I haven't got plenty to watch for when I have no broadband after I move...

Bad Day
Tuesday 17th June 2008 9:19 pm

Today's not been a good day.

This morning the hospital rang me up. They helpfully told reception it was a personal call from Amy, which I heard as Ailie, so I wasn't sure what was going on. Once I'd established who she was, she said that the surgeon who is taking my tooth out on Friday has looked at my notes and decided she doesn't want to do it on her own in the afternoon, so wants to do it in the morning instead.

Because I'm having it done under general anaesthetic (I considered the idea of local because you don't feel so tired afterwards, but then they decided to tell me that they were going to need to break it in half to get it out and after that there was no way I was going to be awake) I have to have someone take me, someone pick me up and someone stay with me afterwards.

Fortunately, as they're all local people, they know how much the hospital are known for messing people around. In fact, when I tell them how much they've messed me around they're surprised it's been so little. So now I get to get up early on Friday then sit around a hospital all morning while they think about getting round to taking my tooth out.

Then this afternoon I couldn't get to my email and discovered I couldn't get to my entire website. After some investigating by me and dad (mostly dad, as I was really busy at work) we discovered this was because my domain name ran out in May. I hadn't renewed it because my provider hadn't quite managed to remind me to renew it.

It's all back now, but it was quite worrying when I forwarded an email to myself and it immediately bounced back saying the domain didn't exist.

Website update
Saturday 19th January 2008 6:33 pm

Somehow, in less than a month, I have managed to put all of my fanfic into a WordPress blog. It's telling me there are 187 stories in it, but that's because each chapter of a multi-chaptered fic counts as one. I seem to have written a lot of drabbles. Anyway, I updated the whole website as well, with other little bits, and the fanfic in there is up to date, including the ones I wrote for Yuletide.

Website update
Saturday 7th July 2007 9:58 pm

I have updated my website, finally, which includes the diary I wrote while I was in Romania.

Sunday 8th April 2007 9:10 pm

Today I was really ruthless in my room. Most of which involved me sitting on my bed because my back hurt and mum doing most of the work. I did dust some videos though. I discovered all sorts of thing I'd forgotten ever existed! Mostly what I have left there now is books and videos, which I have too many of to fit in my flat. I was intending to add all my books to LibraryThing but that involves time, and taking my laptop upstairs, which my back can't really cope with. So it'll have to wait till next time.

I've also updated my website, and includes my American travel diary. I also posted fic: The Scottish Cottage which is a sequel to Dream a Little Dream (which is still the longest thing I've ever written, at 17,000 words), although not the sequel. This one's more a bit of fluffy angst.

Wednesday 31st January 2007 12:04 am

I am much better today. And my to do list is getting shorter, which makes me feel like I'm getting somewhere, finally. Although the list of things I have taped doesn't fit on my TV screen, but still, I've got masses of space left on my hard disk recorder. I'll get to them at some stage, they'll keep.

I have updated my website. I keep writing things, it's such a pain. So then that meant I could sign up for Remix, which I really enjoyed last year, so I'm looking forward to it. Although once the stories come out there's always so much to read!

I went to Rotary tonight, which involved driving there. Although first I went to get petrol. The trouble with it is that it always takes me ages to remember how to put the petrol cap on and take it off again. It's simple, it's just that it's so long between filling it up I forget. The most interesting part of the evening came when trying to get out of the car park and I discovered my handbrake was no enough to keep the car from going backwards. I did eventually get it on hard enough, although then had trouble taking it off once I'd balanced the clutch and accelerator and there were no cars coming. It's just as well there wasn't anyone behind me.

Stargate: Arena
Monday 25th December 2006 11:48 am

It's quite handy having my dad as my web host. He had an email this morning (as did I, but I thought it was spam) to say I've used 80% of my bandwidth. I have no idea how much I've used at any time, but it's academic because I never knew what the limit was anyway. But now it's twice what it was ๐Ÿ™‚

I dreamt last night that I'd woken up and although it felt like the next day it was actually one year later. The latest version of listening to music was called torrenting and involved a standard pair of headphones, but they were connected to the biggest power pack ever. Stargate was still going for another season, although it had General Hammond back in it. And Stargate: Atlantis had been renamed to Stargate: Arena.

I've had a play with Windows Vista on dad's computer (he has it as a virtual machine) and it's not too bad - it's not such a big jump from XP to Vista as it was from 98 to XP. So I'm not hating the idea of having a computer with it on so much. I'm still reserving judgement on Office 2007 and the whole ribbon idea. But as I use Open Office at home and work are still on 2000, I don't think it'll be an issue.

Getting things done
Sunday 12th November 2006 5:29 pm

This morning I had a driving lesson on the motorway! Which was not as scary as I thought it was going to be. My knee didn't appreciate it terribly though. And then this afternoon I did some Rotaract stuff and then I was all dynamic and updated my website. And done some writing, although not my pico project. I haven't even gone near the comm because I already feel guilty. There is plenty of time yet this evening, though. Although it is quite annoying that Midsomer Murders clashes with Torchwood.

It turns out that my parents have two spare kitchen bins in their loft. Apparently because they don't fit in the strangely shaped space they have in the kitchen and dad wanted to keep them because he thought they might be useful for something. It's great that I can have one but that does go a long way towards explaining why they have a loft full of crap. And why I still have my old dressing gown, even though I've had a new one for a week.

Some random bits
Sunday 15th October 2006 11:42 am

I saw the Torchwood trailer last night, before Robin Hood and at the end it confirmed 22nd October on BBC3. I'm quite disappointed there weren't more rumours about it.

My blow-up chair had definitely developed a hole, so I spent the first two-thirds of Robin Hood alternately blowing up the new one and trying to get the air out of the old one. I'd done about as much as I was going to by 7.30 at which point I realised I was just too bored with Robin Hood to watch any more of it. Plus I worked out that I'm not actually going to be in for a single 'nother episode, so I gave up and finished off the Serenity extras.

I updated my website last weekend, which includes the diary I wrote for my Northern Ireland trip.

I also uploaded a couple of fics onto that I hadn't got round to - and it decided to delete half my text. As if it's not useless enough already.

Every time I turn my computer on it complains it can't detect the AC power adaptor, which is obviously a lie because it's running on AC power. I've had this problem before but it's not usually lasted as long.

And there's a pterodactyl in Torchwood, apparently. And I thought the date rumours were crazy.

The Avengers
Thursday 24th August 2006 10:01 pm

I am now up-to-date on where BBC4 is up to in The Avengers - at least once The Proms have finished. The one I had missed was a funny Scottish one with Steed in a kilt. And, in fact, most of the men in it in kilts. And lots of bagpipes, which are thankfully a lot quieter on TV than in real life. Although I still don't quite understand what the plot was all about I enjoyed it anyway.

I was good tonight and updated my website. And remembered why I hate putting fics up on so much. Although it says it accepts quite a few formats it actually refuses to even look at half of them. And the other half it ignores all the formatting on. HTML is the only one I can get to work and then, for no explicable reason, it stripped out all my between scenes symbols. After two goes I gave up. I have better things to do with my life, frankly.

I've also done my wrist in. It wasn't happy a few weeks ago which I realised was probably to do with doing too much Hanjie. Except this morning it got too painful to use the mouse with, so it could be a combination of both. Now I am practising my mouse use with my left hand and handily the tubigrip I bought to protect my skin from my guitar (as I'm allergic to it) fits on my wrist.

Last night while trying to sleep I came up with part of a plot for the Dream a Little Dream sequel. I'd sort of planned doing one anyway because I realised I'd not so much written a hurt/comfort as a comfort/hurt, and while I don't plan on making it all better, I should probably be slightly nice and let the characters recover a little bit.

Mostly Rotaract
Wednesday 31st May 2006 8:59 pm

Monday I had a Rotaract meeting about our bid to run National Conference in 2008. We all got so excited about it we just want it to be now! It is sounding very exciting. On the way I had an hours wait for the bus in Henley so I stopped off in Starbucks and had a hot chocolate with soya milk. Although since the chocolate has milk in it I had a couple of lactase pills first.

Now, the nutritionist told me I was intolerant to milk proteins and lactase pills wouldn't help. Except that they have in the past. I've been good recently and not needed to take any though. So this was a bit of an experiment. And I felt fine. But spending an hour waiting to see if you're going to be ill is quite hard and you do start imagining symptoms.

I stupidly didn't eat lunch till 3pm. As a result by the time I had reached the pub with Sel I had shaking hands with pins and needles in, so ended up having dinner at 4.30pm. After which I felt much better. But I won't be doing that again.

Yesterday evening we went bowling. I actually did quite well in the first game and got 101 - I think there was one spare in there. The second game I was my normal crap self for 69. In my defence, two-thirds of the way through it they switched the ordinary lights off and turned on the excitingly flashing ones. Which made me dizzy - coupled with the slippery shoes did make bowling a bit tricky. At least that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

As today is Wednesday, I've been doing Rotaract stuff. And some other things I've been meaning to do. My inbox is now a lot smaller, although there's still some other things that are going to have to wait until tomorrow. I've updated the Wallingford Rotaract website so it makes us sound more exciting. So now I shouldn't have to worry about it too much next year (which starts 1st July) as I'll have the District one to think of instead.

Hobbit Birthday
Monday 1st May 2006 8:31 pm

I've updated my website. I seem to have written a lot since February. I've been really good and listed everything I've added on the updates page. If anyone is curious about what I got up to in the Lake District I've written that up too (

I had great fun (in a not sense) sorting out the fanlists I belong to, and ones I thought I belong to that I don't seem to be listed on. Most of them seem to think it's a good idea to have their whole website in a tiny little box, then put the boxes on the form you fill in so tiny I can't see which of the drop-downs I want and I end up having to type it.

The exception, though, was the Wesley fanfic listing - thank you Gemma, you saved my sanity! And let me say I was in the UK - having to put England annoys me for absolutely no reason.

Well, it's May Day (in two ways, this year) which is usually when I celebrate my birthday. But I was at a friend's party on Saturday night and her birthday's more than a week before mine, so that was just weird. Plus I'm actually celebrating on the day itself last year (although nothing can really quite top a general election for my birthday).

I've also got so horribly behind on writing birthday drabbles at HASA that I haven't dared go anywhere near the relevant thread. So I thought I'd have a hobbit birthday instead, so that can also include non-HASA people and non-LOTR drabbles.

So, leave a comment with something you'd like and I will try and get them all written by next weekend - depending on how work goes. If you don't manage to leave a comment by then, I can do belated presents too. As regards to subject I will try writing pretty much anything you'd like. If I really can't do that fandom/character/theme/whatever then I might get you to think of an alternative.

Bring it on!

Busy day
Sunday 30th April 2006 9:25 pm

I've been dynamic today. I have:

  • defrosted the fridge - I keep learning more about it and got it down to 6 hours in total - only about 4 hours of that was actual defrosting
  • mostly updated my website - I've not uploaded it yet but I've done the vid recs and fan fic (I seem to have written a lot since my last update) and changed my updates page so it tells you exactly what's new
  • typed up my Lake District diary. I just need to pick some photos and bung that on the site as well
  • Actually finished the first draft of a story I started at the beginning of the week. It's Doctor Who, and definitely longer than the other two I've written, so I might have to admit defeat here and actually do it properly and get it beta'ed and everything. Not what I'm supposed to be writing, unsurprisingly.
  • Tidied my room, so I can actually see it. And tidied all the food that I had round the place. And found some seriously out of date Reef. Disgusting is not the word - it's not strong enough
  • Completely forgot about the Dairy Free chat at 2pm until 4pm - whoops!
  • Lasted until 7pm to see Doctor Who, so I could see it on my computer in widescreen. Then watched Confidential and the episode on the TV with the commentary. I actually had the two exactly in sync, then accidentally leaned on the fast forward button (which I do a lot, it's annoying) and it was never quite the same after that. I've commented on the episode in Sel's LJ because I'm too lazy to press the more button to put it behind an LJ-cut so I don't spoil Avon and Melli.
  • Actually, I think that's it.

Tomorrow I get to wax my legs - although that means I also get to listen to the first half of Night Thoughts. Doing my legs bores me so much, and the washing afterwards is such a pain, I save the Big Finish CDs for this especially, because then it's at least something to look forward to, apart from once I've actually done and have beautifully smooth legs (except for the bits I've missed that I spend the next few days spotting and trying to ignore).

So that's sort of Doctor Who every day this weekend! Not including the Eighth Doctor book I'm reading which is well weird.

The Avengers
Saturday 4th March 2006 5:09 pm

I have finally finished my website. As well as an update I've been re-organising it and changing the look slightly. Needless to say, it's still red. Mostly I've just CSS'ed it, added some more colours and made it so updating it doesn't take so long.

I've had a bitch of a week. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I worked really hard (and late, although not by loads), so that wore me out. It calmed down Thursday in time for me to have a migraine instead. I took lots of drugs early on, so it wasn't too bad, but I'm still tired from all that, which is really annoying. Plus I keep on making typos by exchanging one word for another and confusing everyone completely.

I really enjoyed this weeks episode of The Avengers. They did a body swap episode, so a pair of bad guys (who were lovers) swapped bodies with Steed and Peel. The guests acted Steed & Peel really well, so you were never in doubt who was who. He gets swapped first, so the bad guy tricks Peel into getting swapped (since it requires a big machine). But you'd think she'd have been more suspicious when he refused a drink (although mainly because she said 'you know where it is' and he didn't), called her Emma and walked into the place before her.

The funniest part was the announcer when we came from the adverts, who tried to explain who was who but was a bit confused!

As much as I like Steed & Peel's constant innuendo, seeing them kissing was a bit wrong (although technically it was just their bodies with someone else's pschye in them). At the end, she has to convince him she's herself and whispers something in her ear, which immediately does the trick - I'd love to know what it was!

Last week's episode was also really good. The plot had some bad guy after Steed, and particularly Peel. He takes Steed out fairly early on, then spend the episode slowly winding Peel up so she's not quite sure what's going on. Once he reveals his plot, then she's really scared, although she's pretty much fine right up until the end when she's fighting with the bad guy and losing (having already taken out the bad girl).

When Steed saves her at the end, it's quite sweet that she just smiles at him and he takes her hand to lead it out - nicely subtly done.

I've been surfing round The Avengers Forever website which has all sorts of useful information on it.

The ‘I haven’t updated for a while’ big, long post about lots of different things
Wednesday 18th January 2006 8:50 pm

I spent the weekend (ok, well, some of it) updating my website. I now have a contact form that works and I ended up with a ton of music videos to rec on there. I also reorganised my fanfiction page, so its actually grouped by fandom now! Plus I went through my drabbles and indexed them at the top of the relevant pages. As I was going through all of this I kept finding other, little, things I wanted to change. I've been thinking for a while that I want to go through and tweek some of the back-end stuff, perhaps I should actually get round to it.

Just after I uploaded it, I posted a new fic to Langford U - Divide and Subtract, which is a Sheppard and McKay friendship piece. I'm tempted to do some more with those two because they're so fun (although it was so tempting to go slashy!) and work my way through the rest of BODMAS (brackets of division multiplication addition subtraction = the order you evaluate an equation in, and is actually useful in my job!)

I really enjoyed Life on Mars on Monday. The DCI is so much like Burnside. I feel when he told Sam he had asked to transfer there that was important to the mystery of how he got to 1973 in the first place, although I have no idea how. I notice that, like Spooks, they've gone for the American style of starting with a bit of excitement before starting properly and telling us the names of the actors and giving us some pretty pictures. Which annoys me because it means you actually have to be ready at 9 o'clock, rather than just thinking about it. Unlike Spooks, though, they have actually kept the credits in and saved the trailer for next week till afterwards. The BBC are seriously pushing it, though - there was even a trailer for it before Doctor Who on BBC7 (which was the last one *sob*)

Last night we went to see Brokeback Mountain, which was very good and I really enjoyed. The only downside, apart from the 70s sideburns and that terrible moustache, was I couldn't always understand the Southern accents and as a result I have no idea of most of the characters names.

From the A people on my friends list - annmarwalk, avon and altariel - I am going to read my height in books this year. Because it is a good idea, and also because I'm only 5 foot 1 - which is 155cm in books, so shouldn't be too difficult.

And just to finish off, as I asked Una one of these:
Top 5 Meme: You post a topic, list, category, whatever, in my comments section (examples: "Top 5 Johns & Jacks on TV" or "Top 5 pairings in Atlantis"). Then, in a separate post, I'll post the answers to all your Top 5 ideas, according to me.

I had a whole plan of things I was going to do Friday night, which I completely scuppered by overdosing on biscuits. Technially speaking it was the egg in them that was the problem and I didn't actually know what my tolerance to egg is. Now I know: 2 biscuits. Which is higher than my milk tolerance (which is the equivalent of 1 biscuit) but is really annoying.

What didn't help was working my way through the different Atlantis Au communities - there does seem to a lot of Atlantis AU going on, and I actually like reading it for some strange reason. Anyway, I really liked Langford U, which is set in a university in Nebraska. Which sounds like it's up in the Arctic Circle for some reason, but isn't.

This morning, after beating mum's score on Screwball on the Dairy Free Forum after three attempts, I played with a mock-up website. All I wanted to do was add a row in a table. Which really shouldn't be that complicated. I got really confused with all the tables going on in Nvu so ended up in TextPad, and got myself in such a mess that I ended up starting the table from scratch and pasting the relevant info in. I can't decide whether converting it into LJ-speak is going to be easier or harder.

I should really do the Rotaract stuff I've been putting off half the week (two and a half weeks in some cases), otherwise I'll just put them off all of next week too.
