Summary: The Doctor and Ace go to a concert.

"Oh, no," the Doctor exclaimed. "I'm already here."

"You are?" Ace looked around, trying to work out which of the other people in the muddy field were the Doctor. The one in the long scarf with the terribly dressed woman looked suitably odd, as did the the man in the kilt, but it was hard to tell round here. "We're going to have to leave, aren't we?" The Doctor had said they could go anywhere she chose and she'd really been looking forward to this concert.

"I can't risk meeting myself."

Ace sighed as the Doctor turned away. "Why not? What will happen?"

"Oh, horrible things."

When he didn't explain any more, she rolled her eyes. "Like what?"

"The universe could implode. And I'll get into a terrible argument with myself."

She could believe that. "But I can stay, can't I, Professor?"

He stopped and looked at her and she gave him her best puppy dog eyes expression. When he sighed she thought he was going to give in until he said, "Let's come back last year. I hear it was even better."

She smiled and put her arm through his. "Yeah, and no other Doctors to spoil the day."
