Dear Yuletide Writer:

This letter is just a copy of my sign up, in case it helps to have it in this format. Fandoms and characters I have requested are:
Daisy Dalrymple (Daisy, Alec)
The Persuaders (Brett, Danny)
Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) (Jeff, Marty)

Daisy Dalrymple (Daisy, Alec)
Likes: Stories that feel like a piece of canon, stories that make me laugh, stories that give me warm fuzzy feelings, banter, friendship, what if AUs, unusual formats (eg epistolary, IF, five things etc) as well as the usual formats

DNW: Levels of sex/language/violence that would be out of place in the original, non-canonical permanent character death of any regular characters, setting change AUs

I love all the period stuff in this - the hemlines, the cloches, the scandal of Daisy marrying a policeman. And I love a good murder mystery. I love how Daisy helps solve them and Alec has given up stopping her. Or from stopping her doing anything she doesn't want to.

I'd love something set before they get married - we don't see a lot of them going on dates or her first meeting with Belinda. I'd like to see more of them getting to know each other. And Daisy and Belinda getting to know each other. Or even Daisy and Alec's mother getting to know each other, in as much as they do.

I'd equally like something set after their wedding. How does Belinda now having a mother change the relationship between her and Alec? Or Daisy and Alec dealing with Alec's mother - I did enjoy that in Die Laughing.

I'd also love case fic.

The Persuaders (Brett, Danny)
Likes: Stories that feel like a piece of canon, stories that make me laugh, stories that give me warm fuzzy feelings, banter, friendship, what if AUs, unusual formats (eg epistolary, IF, five things etc) as well as the usual formats

DNW: Levels of sex/language/violence that would be out of place in the original, non-canonical permanent character death of any regular characters, committed relationship between Brett and Danny, setting change AUs

I love how ridiculous the stories are and how Brett is the straight man to Danny's funny man. How obsessed they are with women, how terrible they are at dancing. And the car chases in their flash cars. And I love how they're the best of friends, despite prior to that not really having any good friends that they've kept.

I also like how slashy it is - they're all over each other all the time. I think of their relationship as being something entirely casual that they don't think about too much or something that's just for when they don't get the girl or can involve actual feelings.

I'd just like something that shows the relationship between them, whether close friends or more. With some silliness thrown in, and maybe an exotic location. Maybe the Judge is being his usual, wonderfully manipulative self, Brett & Danny vow to get their own back on him, but it turns out that he'd planned for that. Or a case of mistaken identity that is solved via worrying about the safety of the other one, and some fist fighting.

Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) (Jeff, Marty)
Likes: Stories that feel like a piece of canon, stories that make me laugh, stories that give me warm fuzzy feelings, banter, friendship, what if AUs, unusual formats (eg epistolary, IF, five things etc) as well as the usual formats

DNW: Levels of sex/language/violence that would be out of place in the original, non-canonical permanent character death (unless they come back as ghosts), shipping Jeff and Jeannie, setting change AUs

I like how Jeff and Marty are best friends: how Jeff is clearly happier with a (living) partner in the first episode. I like how Marty is a worrier who is reduced to annoying Jeff until Jeff does what Marty wants. It feels like a friendship where it doesn't always seem like they care about each other, but when it comes down to it, they'll always be there for each other.

I'd love to see something with Jeff and Marty and their friendship. Given Marty's tendency to pop up at the wrong moment (eg when Jeff has taken a woman back to his place) how about five times Marty interrupted Jeff's private time? Or I'd love to see Marty saving Jeff in ways that doesn't involve finding people who can hear him. Or maybe just something before Marty dies, perhaps with a boring divorce case that Jeff hates so much.

I'd also like to see the format played with. What if Randall and Hopkirk get a client who has been prompted to visit because of his own haunting? Once Marty finds a psychic who can hear him, does he go back to them? Often enough that he's annoying them? Does he haunt hospitals to help the recently dead (either to come to terms with their death, or send them back to their body)?
