"Doctor? Sorry, I thought you were someone else."

The Doctor, although not her Doctor should have been here to meet her. She'd mistaken this man for him for a moment, making her heart flutter. But this man was taller.

"I am the Doctor." He grinned a smile full of teeth. "And you are?"

She opened her mouth to answer but if he didn't know who she was that meant he was from before they met. Definitely not the Doctor she wanted. Not wanting to make that mistake again she said, "No one," and fled before she could damage time further.

"Doctor, what... Oh!"

"Sarah Jane Smith! I am the Doctor. Could you please untie me?"

After looking around she set to work on the plastic ties around his wrists. "If you're the Doctor, prove it."

He sighed. "The last thing I said to you before I regenerated was 'A tear, Sarah Jane?'"

"It is you!" Now his hands were free she hugged him.

"This is all very well, but I'd rather like to get out of here before the Ka'rn-gors return. Actually, there's something you might be able to help me with."

"Anything." She smiled and he finally smiled back.
