"Does it have explosions in it?" Malcolm asked eagerly, as they took their trays to a table.

Trip sighed and sat down. "Is that the only way you judge whether a movie is good or not?"

"No. I like plenty of movies that don't have explosions in them." Malcolm gestured with his fork.

"Name one." Trip stared at him.

Malcolm paused, fork in the air. "I can't think of one right now," he managed eventually.

Trip shook his head. "One of these days I'm going to broaden your movie horizons."

"Oh, good." The lack of enthusiasm showed in Malcolm's voice.
